We cannot arrive where we want without putting in the work. We need creativity and imagination in order to see what might be possible. A N D we need to remember that our lived experience is interwoven with our inner state. Where there is violence and suffering in the world, it is because there is still violence and suffering within. Where there is exploitation of resources and people, it’s because we are still battling between better than/less than inside of ourselves... still grasping for security and wholeness that we mistakenly think is outside of us.

Sowelu is the rune of the sun, of insight striking like lightening, of balancing what is wild/human and what is sacred. The blank rune is a reminder that the answers already exist within and that trust and faith in those answers are what brings us to our ultimate destiny. Here there is an invitation to stop looking outside and instead to tend to your inner capacity. How can you become whole enough to safely hold more charge? More inspiration? More of your own fire? And how can you balance that with the silence and stillness needed to get clear direction, to walk with a presence that is less violent. Then how do you put this paradox into action in your life to undertake a journey of fulfillment and making a world of magic a reality?

Sit with these questions. Sit with these images. Notice what you feel in your body. Notice if your breathing changes at all. Notice if memories, images, colors, sounds, smells... whatever, come to you. What might these messages from your inner knowing be delivering? What support, if any, can you call in in order to hold what is uncomfortable until you fear it no longer? Until it no longer holds the charge of a live wire. Now go forth and live the messages, live the questions, live the lessons. A better world waits for all of us as each of us undertakes this journey.
