Whew. Much is activated in the collective right now. And this, while challenging, is a good thing. When working in the energy fields within and around the body, healing past trauma and resolving old patterns, before the release must come re-activation and challenge.

Taken together the runes and equine oracles warn against spiritual bypassing (the desire to be healed before the work is done, without challenge, to only ever exist in ‘peace’ that is actually a coma) and the possibility offered by allowing tears, grief, and anger. The sacred tenderness that has room to breath when fire and water have released and cleared what, until now, has remained (mostly) unwitnessed and unhealed.

There is both an invitation to root down and give what’s inside us the time and space to reveal itself, as well as to explore what movement is possible when collaborative trust (that which is not about dominance and hierarchy, but rather about partnership, balance between things that seem opposite) are present. There is a promise that right here and right now is the medicine.

Where in your life are you hiding from or skipping over big feelings? Yours or another’s (there is no real separation here)? When you think of fire, what does that evoke for you? If fear, is it beneficial to resist or avoid... or is there another way? What might you be grieving and what might be waiting on the other side of that grief? Where might you be looking or giving power outside you for answers? If you are looking inside are the answers coming from head or heart? Where in your life do you feel the need to defend yourself because you fear being weak? Who do you oppress in those moments? Be honest and compassionate.
