As always, look closely and listen deeply for what the cards invoke in you. There may be additional messages that come through.

To me, this feels like an invitation and a re-membering.

Human and spirit are healthily interwoven here and the body, the breath, a full engagement with life and a heart-centered warrior’s commitment to Love are the keys.

Freyja brings the watery, reflective depths and the magikal deaths. Bring levity and play to your ownership of your body and your life, to the battles you face. In this way, you live a heart-centered, fulfilling life.

Danburite holds the balance of density and lightness. An integrated core. Ease. Softness. All in perfect timing. You don’t have to try so hard to be perfect. You already are perfectly you. *Your* perfection is written in your bones and brought to life through your feet, if you choose to follow your path.

The 5 of Swords has full belonging of themselves. They listen inward to the deeper truths. They question what is considered ‘normal’- the air we breathe and have stopped noticing. They choose to affirm nature, life, love, freedom. They are willing to risk push back and discomfort because they know there is a higher connection we all have with each other and all of Life. An interdependence. Sometimes we must risk false connections and false unity in the name of our true interdependence. Walk out of step if that is what you know to be true. You are never truly alone.

There is a sense of the balance that heals- emergent and fluid:

feminine, masculine;

individual and collective;

water, fire, earth, and air;

taking in and letting go

Each of us has within us masculine and feminine energies. These energies can also be described as integrative and generative; or potential and kinetic; creative/ gestational and manifest/ material. One is not better than the other and there is a strong chance that they are different than the ideas of ‘gender’ you’ve been taught. In fact, flavors of each influence the other. In true balance they are intermingled, emergent, non-binary, queer.

When harnessed in ways that honor cycles, life, they create healing and bounty.

It’s individual, it’s also collective.

Bring all of you forward to offer it up. What you offer will always be returned in other ways, especially when we belong, fully, to ourselves, each other, this earth, this life.

If there are tears, unshed, in your heart, your lungs, your eyes- this is an invitation to let them flow. Where we have forgotten to love ourselves, there is frequently grief. Re-membering wholeness out of fragmentation can liberate the love *and* the grief. The softness that follows the storm is the gift.

Any tears can water the fruits of your healing, of our healing, together.

Today’s message comes to us more through symbols and abstractions so I definitely recommend looking at the cards and noticing any physical sensations, emotions, or other associations that arise as they may be showing you, in your own symbolic language, your message.

The animals are cat and swan, the crystals are green tourmaline and citrine.

Cats are sensual, frequently independent, and very sensitive to energies. They often seem to have a foot in both worlds, the seen and the unseen.

Green tourmaline feels to me like Love, grounding, and pleasure. A solid warmth.

These energies appear next to the swan maiden; a woman of contradictions and the magic of the wild. Something that is fierce and also soft, a song our bones remember. A beauty that belongs to itself.

Citrine feels like an invitation to expand, joyfully. To claim a birthright of abundance. Playful and warm.

Taken all together they hold different frequencies, perhaps different pieces or approaches but all pointing to our physical experience joyfully dancing, in reciprocity with our magical, spiritual one.

What are they saying to you? How do they leave you feeling? What stories do they tell? What bearing do those stories have within your life?

Today’s message feels hopeful and soft. A sense of swaddling, of union- we are all interconnected.

As always, look at the cards and notice what the evoke in you. There may be a message that comes to you that is different than what I share. Yours is equally valid.

There is an opportunity for expansion present- a gentle and joyful expansion.

Past models of expansion through violence and conquering can end, if we can heal that in is which fears ourselves, fears connection, fears Love.

When we expand from and through Love, we take up more space without asking another to take up less.

Our humanness has been in error on this for so many years. But since we are not just human, we are also spirit, we have the ability to shift perceptions. To see differently. To act differently.

Quan Yin offers forgiveness. Not the kind that says, “your were right and I was wrong,” or even “I was right and you were wrong,” but the kind that simply says, with depth and feeling:

“Ouch. That hurt.”

We are interconnected. And what has hurt one has hurt another. So when we acknowledge the depth of hurt, healing happens for all involved. No blame. Just responsibility.

And from there: forgiveness, connection, and, eventually, joy and Love.

Today’s message feels nuanced.

As always, look at the cards for yourself and notice what sensations or memories or emotions arise. What within you is awoken by them and wanting your attention?

The horses are testing boundaries, using anger in a healthy way to ultimately lead to harmony in community. They do not shy away from conflict or tension. There is a charge there, a fierceness, but without grudges there is also room for playfulness. Anger only hurts when denied, when wielded as a weapon rather than a protection of Love, or when held onto too long.

Then there’s the Medicine Woman tarot Trickster (the Devil). A victim mentality. Perhaps the thought: “if only I hadn’t been so nice, or could care a little less, I wouldn’t be taken advantage of...” Where is your power here? ‘Niceness’ without boundaries is its own form of manipulation. Your experiences made you who you are. Integrate them. Own them. Move forward. You have more power than you believe.

The Next World Tarot 6 of Wands (Victory) and the 10 of Cups (Safety) show us the individual and the collective possibilities of reclaiming power, of building capacity for healthy conflict. There is fear and violence in the world. It does not serve to deny it. But to find victory within, to find safety together, we have all we need. It is not necessarily easy. And it is not all love and light. We will have to unlearn some things and challenge our own ways of seeing the world. But we can do hard things. Through Love.
